Feature
- Spindle motor with air cooling fan and ER32 collet ensures smooth running.
- Fast response, strong overload capacity, low noise, and high mechanical precision.
- High-quality 4 pcs bearings (7008Cx2 + 7004Cx2), runout off less than 0.01mm, tapered bore less than 0.005mm.
- P4 grade ceramic ball bearings are used as spindle bearings, which improves the service life under high-speed revolution.
- Lubricated with grease, which is resistant to 200 degrees high temperature.
- Tight sealing and two-layer dustproof design.
Application
This series of air-cooled electric spindle motors is designed primarily for use with variable frequency drives or engraving machines, as well as CNC routers. It is ideal for high-speed profiling, drilling, cutting, engraving, and groove milling across a variety of materials, including wood, metal, plastics, foam, and rubber.
Note: Ensure that the spindle motor and VFD are compatible. The VFD’s specifications and parameter settings must align with the spindle motor’s nominal parameters. Incorrect settings can lead to spindle motor damage or burnout.

Tips: How to Choose the Right VFD Matching Spindle Motor?
Variable frequency drive adopts frequency conversion technology and micro-electronic technology, by changing the working power frequency of the spindle motor, so as to achieve the purpose of energy-saving speed regulation. The selection of frequency inverter should match the voltage, power and frequency of the spindle motor to maximize its utility.
- Set the VFD reference frequency. The reference frequency of the VFD is set according to the highest frequency of the motorized spindle. If the reference frequency of the VFD is not set, the spindle motor will burn out immediately after it starts running.
- The maximum frequency, rotation frequency and corresponding voltage of the VFD are set according to the curve in the instruction.
- The current of the VFD is set according to the rated current of the spindle motor.
- Set the overload current to 120% of the rated current of the spindle motor.
- Set the overload trip level to 100% and the overload trip time to 5s. Carrier frequency Settings are related to spindle motor power, with spindle motors less than 10 kW set at 8 KHz, spindle motors over 10 kW set at 5 KHz, and acceleration and deceleration times set at 10 S-20s. When the starting current exceeds the rated current protection, the acceleration time should be extended.
- After the power is switched on, VFD starts to observe whether the rotation direction of the spindle motor is consistent with the direction indicated by the motorized spindle. If the rotation direction is inconsistent, the power supply should be cut off immediately, and check the three-phase power mode connected with the inverter and spindle motor. It is strictly prohibited to run the spindle motor wrong in the direction of rotation.
