Tips: Mode selection for LCR meter when measuring inductance.
Low impedance devices use series mode, the calculation accuracy will be high. Large impedance devices use parallel mode, the calculation accuracy will be high. If the impedance is greater than several hundred k or M, use parallel mode. In addition, when testing devices with small inductance and capacitance, increasing the test frequency appropriately can improve test accuracy. In practical applications of LCR meters, series mode is used more often.
Total impedance is greater than 10kΩ, use parallel mode.
Total impedance is less than 10Ω, use series mode.
Total impedance is between 10Ω and 10kΩ, measure according to measurement requirements of the LCR meter product manual.
