The RTD sensor is a high-precision temperature measurement device based on the principle that metal resistance changes with temperature. The RTD temperature sensor works based on the property that the resistance of a metal conductor changes with temperature. When the temperature rises, the movement of electrons inside the metal is hindered, resulting in an increase in resistance; conversely, when the temperature decreases, the resistance decreases. RTD sensors have high accuracy (up to ±0.1°C), excellent long-term stability, and good linear output, making them suitable for scenarios that require reliable measurement.
