Tips: The difference between two-wire and three-wire RTD sensors
- Two-wire: Two-wire RTD sensors use only two wires to simultaneously complete the excitation current transmission and voltage measurement. They have a simple structure and the lowest cost, but their measurement results include lead resistance, which can cause the temperature reading to be higher. Since the influence of wire resistance cannot be eliminated, the two-wire system has low accuracy and is only suitable for short-distance measurements or occasions with low accuracy requirements, such as temporary experimental tests or low-cost applications.
- Three-wire: Three-wire RTD sensors offset the influence of lead resistance by adding a compensation wire, two of which are of the same material and length for excitation current, and the third for voltage measurement. This design uses a bridge circuit or algorithm to eliminate most of the lead resistance errors, significantly improving measurement accuracy while maintaining a reasonable cost. The three-wire system is the most commonly used configuration in the industrial field, suitable for medium-distance transmission and scenarios requiring high reliability, such as PLC, DCS control systems, etc.
Builder in Product TAB
NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc.
You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules.
Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
