4 inch pneumatic butterfly valve consists of a pneumatic actuator and a cast iron or PVC butterfly valve that comes with a 100mm (DN100) port and high performance disc. Our air actuated butterfly valve can work at high temperature below 100 °C, which is a reliable device for flow control.

Pneumatic butterfly valve is a device that controls the flow of solids, gases and liquids in pipes, it is suitable for various fields from pharmaceutical to manufacturing industry and food processing. Butterfly valves are mainly divided into wafer butterfly valves and lug butterfly valves. However, what is the difference between them?

Pneumatic lug butterfly valve

Lug butterfly valves are mainly made of cast iron and stainless steel. They are used for bolting through fully threaded lugs located on the valve flange. The ear type butterfly valve adopts pneumatic actuator, and the material of its disc and valve seat can be customized according to the fluid medium.

Pneumatic Wafer Butterfly Valve

Wafer-style butterfly valves are designed with four holes aligned with connecting piping. They can be sandwiched between the pipe and two flanges. We offer wafer-style grease valves with pneumatic actuators that feature EPDM seats that provide a secure seal between the valve and the flange connection. The stainless steel disc enables the pneumatic wafer butterfly valve to control gases and liquids from -10°C to 120°C.
