Tips: Problems to be noticed for soft starter electrification debugging
Frequent starting of the soft starter is forbidden, because the frequent starting of the high current will burn the SCR. The required soft starting time is 10 to 20 times / h, and the time interval of the starting with loads is 3 ~ 6min.
After the start signal is issued, the motor stops immediately after slow turning and the line protector operates. Under this situation, the motor may stall, and it can be restarted after the motor stalling is eliminated.
After the start signal is issued, the motor starts, but the protection trip occurs shortly after the starting. This fault causes include that the parameter adjustment of the thermal protection of the motor is too small; motor number and design do not match; and the fan has air leak. It is necessary to start after the trouble shooting.
The motor cannot be started after the start signal is issued. There are many reasons for this situation, the main circuit and control circuit is not powered, the control wiring is wrong, and the motor has failure and so on.
