SF6 sulphur hexafluoride gas sensor with RS485/4-20mA/0-5V/0-10V four communication protocols available. 0~500ppm, 0~1000ppm SF6 measurement range. It can be used in harsh environments such as industrial plants/traffic tunnels/energy and electric power/oil and petrochemicals/coal mine tunnels/gas extraction and other industrial and agricultural environments (pollution emission monitoring, fruit tree gardens, agricultural greenhouses of farms, floriculture, laboratories, etc.) for health and safety monitoring.

Tips: Hazards of Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF6)

Health Risks:

  • Asphyxiation: SF6 is a dense gas and can displace oxygen in confined spaces, leading to a risk of asphyxiation. In high concentrations, it can cause dizziness, unconsciousness, and even death due to lack of oxygen.
  • Inhalation: Although SF6 is generally considered non-toxic, inhaling high concentrations can cause respiratory issues and potential harm due to oxygen displacement.
