Tips: What is the role of the relay module?

The relay module integrates and serializes the single low-power relays in the electrical control cabinet, reducing the intermediate wiring links and improving the performance of the product. The relay module conforms to the development trend of miniaturization and integration, and is a replacement product of the original single relay. In the past, when we made an automated electrical control cabinet, the PLC control load will be added with a small intermediate relay. Now that industrial automation has developed toward integration, a relay module has been developed. PLC can directly control the coil of the relay module, and then the contact of the relay module can control the load. The advantage is that the relay module is small, accounting for only 1/2 of the volume of the small intermediate relay, and the contact current is still larger than that of the small relay, generally 10A, 12A, 16A, 30A. With varistor, when the relay is disconnected, the generated sparks play an arc extinguishing role, improving the life of the relay. In addition, it is very convenient to replace the damaged relay on the relay module. Like the small intermediate relay, the relay module is also equipped with a base, which can be plugged and replaced directly, and it is convenient to maintain. The relay module is also very convenient to connect, and the input and output are the same as the PLC It is separated, that is, the top is the input, and the bottom is the output.
