Tips: Main functions of a relay
A relay is an automatic switch with isolation function. It is widely applied to remote control, remote measuring, communication, automatic control, mechatronics, and electric or electronic devices as an important control component.
The relay has the following functions as a control component:

  1. Expansion of control range: for example, when multi-contact relay control certain number of signals, it could change over contacts, and close or open several circuits according to types of contact groups.
  2. Amplification: for example, sensitive relay and intermediate relay use a tiny controlled quantity to control circuits of larger power.
  3. Integration of signals: for example, when several control signals are input to multi-wound relay in specified form, they will realize expected control effect after being compared and integrated.
  4. Automation, remote control, and monitoring: for example, relays on automatic devices could form up programmed control circuit with other devices to realize automatic operation.

The Difference Between Solid State Relays and Electromagnetic Relays

SSR and EMR are both commonly used electrical control components. Their main difference is that solid state relays are usually based on semiconductor technology and have no mechanical contacts, while electromagnetic relays rely on electromagnetic effects to control the opening and closing of switches. Taken together, SSR have advantages in response speed, durability, and anti-interference capabilities, and are particularly suitable for application scenarios that require fast response and high precision. The EMR performs better in terms of cost and heat dissipation requirements, and is suitable for cost-sensitive applications with low heat dissipation requirements.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
