The stepper motor driver is in a certain phase when the power is off. If the phase is different from this phase when the power is turned on the next time, the motor will jitter. In order to eliminate the jitter, the phase when the power is off must be memorized.

The running sequence of the stepper motor is 8. If it stops at the 4th step, the board is powered off, and after the power is re-powered, if you directly start to drive the 1st step at the 4th position, there will be a skip. The stepper motor driver is an actuator that converts electrical pulses into angular displacement. When the stepper driver receives a pulse signal, it drives the stepper motor to rotate a fixed angle in the set direction, and its rotation runs step by step at a fixed angle. The stepper motor driver can control the angular displacement by controlling the number of pulses, so as to achieve the purpose of accurate positioning; at the same time, it can control the speed and acceleration of the motor rotation by controlling the pulse frequency, so as to achieve the purpose of speed regulation and positioning. If the system can still remember that it is still in step 4, it can correctly issue the command to go to step 5 or 3.
