Eddy current displacement sensor is installed on the fixed bracket. Therefore, quality of the bracket directly determines the measurement effect. This requires that the support should have sufficient rigidity to increase the frequency of natural vibration, to avoid or reduce when the measured body vibrates, the support is also excited and self-vibrates. The natural frequency of bracket should be at least 10 times the mechanical rotation speed. Bracket should be parallel to the tangent direction of the tested surface. Eddy current displacement sensor is installed vertically on the bracket. If the center line of probe is at an angle of 15° in the vertical direction, although this has no effect on the system characteristics, it is better to ensure that eddy current displacement sensor is perpendicular to the measured surface.
