Tips: How to choose a miniature circuit breaker for the motor?
When selecting a miniature circuit breaker (MCB) for a motor, consider the following key factors:
- Current Rating: Choose a mini MCB breaker with a current rating that matches the motor's full-load current. It's important to select a micro circuit breaker that can handle the motor's startup current, which can be significantly higher than the running current.
- Motor Type and Inrush Current: Motors, especially induction motors, have a high inrush current during startup. Choose a mini MCB with a C curve (for moderate inrush currents) or D curve (for motors with high inrush currents) to avoid unnecessary tripping during startup.
- Breaking Capacity: Ensure the MCB's short-circuit breaking capacity is sufficient to handle potential fault currents without damage.
- Voltage Rating: Make sure the MCB’s voltage rating matches or exceeds the motor’s operating voltage (typically 230V for single-phase or 400V for three-phase motors).
- Overload Protection: The MCB circuit breaker should provide overload protection based on the motor's characteristics to prevent damage from prolonged excessive current.
Builder in Product TAB
NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc.
You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules.
Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
