Tips: How to Install and use SS sanitary butterfly valve

The stainless steel sanitary butterfly valve is simple in structure, easy to install and maintain, and has a very wide range of applications in the industry. In the installation of sanitary butterfly valves, some details should also be paid attention to.

  • Before installation, the pipes and valves need to be cleaned. There should be no scratches and dirt on the sealing surface to avoid internal leakage or reduce the service life of the BF control valve.
  • When installing, carefully check whether the clamp connection model is consistent. A special sealing ring should be installed at the connection between the clamp and the valve to make the valve and the pipeline connection sealed reliably. Both horizontal pipelines and vertical stainless steel angle steel pipelines can be installed.
  • When the installation is completed and the pressure medium is introduced, turn the handle 90° to check the internal and external seals. If there is no leakage, it can be put into normal use.
  • If it is found that there is still leakage inside the butterfly valve when it is closed during use, the sealing ring must be replaced and reinstalled correctly before putting it into use.
  • The sanitary butterfly valve is used to connect and disconnect the medium, and can also be used to adjust the flow. However, do not install the valve in a system that requires strict adjustment of the medium flow.
