Tips: How does the vortex flow sensor measure flow rates?

Vortex flow sensors use the Kamen vortex principle to measure flow. When fluid passes through the sensor's bluff body, alternating vortices are generated downstream. These vortices create pressure fluctuations that are detected by the sensor's internal sensing element. The frequency of these fluctuations is proportional to the flow rate, allowing precise measurement of the fluid's velocity and volume. This design ensures high accuracy and repeatability, making it suitable for a wide range of applications.
