Tips: How does the RDDLZ lockable pneumatic foot switch work?

The locking foot valve locks the workpiece in place, when the foot is removed, the pawl rides over the pedal lever and holds it down, and reinsertion of the foot releases the pawl. The spring return version is used to perform repetitive functions such as metering, pressing, punching or drilling, with the valve returning when the foot is removed.
