Tips: Automatic water booster pump troubleshooting

Faults	Reasons	Solutions
The booster pump runs but no water output.	The water in the pump is not full. Wrong direction of rotation. The impeller passage is blocked.	Inject water into the pump again. Drain the impeller passage. Adjust the direction of rotation.
The booster pump flow is insufficient.	The pump is blockage. Low revolution. The impeller is damage. The outlet valve opening is too large.	Clean the pump and tube. Replace the impeller. Add shaft revolution. Turn down the outlet valve.
The pressure of the outlet is insufficient.	There is air in the liquid. Low revolution. The impeller is damage. The outlet valve opening is too large.	Expel air from the liquid. Replace the impeller. Add shaft revolution. Turn down the outlet valve.
The booster pump consumes too much power (motor heating).	Mechanical defects: Running clearance is too small; the motor shaft is bent; bolts looseness. The booster pump operates well below the rated head.	Check the mechanical parts and solve the problems in time. Adjust the outlet valve to make sure the pump works near the rated flow and rated head.
The booster water pump vibration.	The piping system is not well supported. The impeller is blocked causing imbalance and cavitation effect. There is air in the liquid.	Check the support part of the pump. Tighten the bolts. Drain the impeller passage to make it balance. Expel air from the liquid.
The booster pump is water leakage.	The mechanical sealing is damage. The O-ring is damage. The pump itself is water leakage.	Replace the mechanical sealing and O-ring. Welding the pump body where it leaks.
Excessive pump noise.	The bearing is overheating and lack of oil. The booster pump is overload.	Fill oil in the bearing. Check the mechanical parts and solve the problems in time.
