Tips: Why is a water leakage sensor equipped with a controller?

A water leakage sensor typically needs a controller to process the sensor's signal and take appropriate action when a leak is detected. The sensor alone can only identify the presence of water, but the controller is responsible for interpreting that signal, determining whether it meets a predefined threshold, and triggering a response, such as an alarm, shutting off water valves, or sending notifications.

Additionally, the controller provides a centralized interface for managing multiple sensors, adjusting sensitivity, and monitoring the system status in real-time. In advanced systems, controllers can also integrate with smart home or industrial automation systems, allowing for remote monitoring and control. Without a controller, the sensor would not be able to communicate or execute these vital actions, limiting its effectiveness in preventing damage from leaks.
