Tips: Working principle of photoelectric water leak sensor
- Photoelectric Detection: The sensor is equipped with components that emit and receive light, using a photoelectric sensor as the collection unit. When water contacts the detection area, it alters the propagation path or intensity of the light.
- Signal Variation: The presence of water causes attenuation or reflection changes in the light signal, which the sensor can monitor in real time.
- Signal Processing: Once a change in the light signal is detected, the internal processing unit of the sensor analyzes and determines whether a water leak is present.
- Alarm and Output: If a leak is confirmed, the sensor issues an alarm via RS485 or relay output and transmits the information to a monitoring system, ensuring timely user response.
- Remote Monitoring: Through the RS485 interface, the sensor can communicate with other devices for remote monitoring and management.
