Wiring

Note*

  • When installing horizontally, it is recommended to install the paddle level switch at an angle of 15°C~20°C.
  • The entrance of the junction box must face downwards, and the cable fixing nut must be locked.
  • When sending power, make sure the voltage is correct.
  • The controlled line load must match the switch contact capacity.
  • Avoid bridge breakers or vibration motors near the rotary paddle level switch.
  • Avoid installing the switch close to the material inlet to reduce damage to the blades and malfunction due to unloading; if the switch must
  • It must be installed near the feed inlet. Please install a 2mm wide protective barrier 200mm above the switch.
  • When the shaft length-adjustable switch is disassembled and installed on-site when the universal joint is connected to the drive shaft, the locking nut must be coated with Oxygen-deficient glue and then locked with a wrench.
  • During on-site installation and maintenance, the warning of "open the cover after cutting off the power supply" must be followed.
  • There are no toxic gases that corrode aluminum alloys at the installation site.
  • The maximum temperature of the medium being measured should not exceed the temperature indicated on the product label.
  • When installing the switch, please do not directly hit the blade and transmission shaft.

Applications

Tips: How does a rotary paddle level switch work?

A rotary paddle level switch operates based on the principle of mechanical obstruction. The device consists of a rotating paddle typically housed inside a bin or storage vessel at a predetermined level. The paddle is connected to a motor or drive mechanism outside the vessel. When the material in the vessel is below the set level, the paddle rotates freely.

As the material level rises and reaches the paddle, it encounters resistance. The increased resistance hinders the paddle's rotation. Once the paddle is impeded or completely stops, it triggers a switch mechanism connected to the drive. This switch activation serves as a signal for level detection. The switch output can be connected to alarms, indicators, or control systems to alert operators or automate processes based on the material's level.

A rotary paddle level switch provides a simple and effective means of detecting material levels by utilizing the mechanical obstruction caused by the material reaching a specific point in a storage vessel.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
