Closed-loop stepper motor indicates the combination of stepper motor and closed-loop control. Due to the shortcomings of open-loop control system of stepper motor, like low accuracy and out of step, the closed-loop control system of stepper motor can be applied into the occasions with high precision. Such control mode indicates directly or indirectly detecting the location or velocity to devolve (or load) and automatically giving out the drive pulse sequence of stepper motor through feedback and proper handling. As for this drive pulse sequence, there are many methods for realizing such changing control mode according to the location of load or rotor. High requirement for location precision can be realized on occasion with high precision requirement by combining micro-step drive technology and microcomputer control technique.
