Tips: Uses of NTC temperature sensors with different resistance values
- 5kΩ~10kΩ: NTC temperature sensors with 5kΩ~10kΩ are suitable for medium and high temperature measurements (50°C~150°C) because their low resistance changes significantly in the high temperature zone and they have a fast response speed, making them suitable for overheating protection. In addition, they are easy to match with 5kΩ or 10kΩ voltage divider resistors, suitable for high-precision ADC circuits, and reduce noise interference. Typical applications include industrial equipment temperature detection and high-temperature segment monitoring of electric vehicle batteries.
- 20kΩ~50kΩ: NTC temperature sensors with 20kΩ~50kΩ are suitable for a wide temperature range (-30°C~100°C), such as automotive air conditioning systems, smart home temperature and humidity sensors, and medical equipment.
