Note: The sensing element is sheath thermocouple, thermowell material is stainless steel, and circuit adopts non-isolated type. When ordering products, write the thermowell insertion depth l and the corresponding temperature range for output 4~20mA signal you need.
Application
Tips: How to connect thermocouple and DCS
- Thermocouple uses extension wire and there are nodes in the middle, but corresponding compensating cable must be used and directly connected to DCS thermocouple module. It is necessary to reduce nodes as far as possible so as to reduce interference. In addition, DCS configuration should select corresponding thermocouple model and compensating method as well.
- Thermocouple uses transmitter (temperature transmitter) in the field and transforms into 4~20mA standard signal. Then, connect it with the indoor safety grid (if necessary, such as chemical environments) and connect with DCS standard analog quantity card (general AI card). It is noteworthy that compensating cable is necessary from thermocouple to transmitter. Transmitter needs to set compensating method, thermocouple type and calibration range, and DCS should set range and signal type.
