Installation Method

Note: The sensor should not be installed upside down or horizontally, but at least at an angle of 15 degrees or more. The interface of sidewall mounting must be beveled at 15 degrees, otherwise it will affect the normal testing and use of the electrodes.

Application

Tips: What is the difference between NTU and Hazen units measured by the Chroma sensor?

The NTU (Nephelometric Turbidity Unit) measures the turbidity or cloudiness of water caused by suspended particles that scatter light, such as sediment, algae, or fine silt. It reflects how “murky” the water is.

The Hazen unit, also known as Platinum-Cobalt Units (PCU), measures the color of dissolved substances in water — typically due to organic matter, tannins, or industrial pollutants.

This chroma sensor measures both simultaneously, providing a comprehensive evaluation of water clarity (NTU) and coloration (Hazen) — which is crucial for water quality monitoring where both physical and chemical characteristics matter.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
