Applications
Y-type strainers can remove impurities, debris, and solid particles from fluid or gas pipelines in industrial and commercial applications. They are typically used in applications where a high flow rate is required, and where there is a risk of damage to equipment or processes from the presence of solid particles.
Tips: Material Types of Y Strainers
- Brass: Offers good corrosion resistance and is used in plumbing and low-pressure systems. It is also non-sparking and has a nice appearance but is less strong.
- Stainless Steel: Highly resistant to corrosion and high temperatures, making it suitable for aggressive fluids and high-pressure applications. It is durable and has a long service life.
- Ductile Iron: Known for its high strength and durability, it is used in high-pressure and heavy-duty industrial applications. It may require coating for corrosion resistance.
- Carbon Steel: Cost-effective and strong, used in general industrial applications. It may need protective coating to prevent corrosion, especially in harsh environments.
- Plastic (e.g., PVC, CPVC): Lightweight, resistant to corrosion, and suitable for non-metallic fluid applications. Ideal for less aggressive or lower-pressure systems.
Builder in Product TAB
NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc.
You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules.
Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
