Note: The wiring of 48V inverter is similar to the 24V inverter, and the batteries are connected in series.

Protection Functions & Applications


  • Reverse Polarity Protection: Auto protection when input positive and negative polarities are reversely connected – The fuse blown out.
  • Short Circuit Protection: Automatically self-protect when short circuit occurs – Red LED light ON.
  • Low Voltage Protection: Automatically protect when in low voltage – Alarm first, the voltage continuously reduces, the red light is on and the inverter shuts down.
  • Over Voltage Protection: Automatically protect when in high voltage – Red LED light is on, and the inverter automatically shuts down.
  • Over Temperature Protection: Automatically self-protect when at high temperature – Alarm first, the temperature continuously rises, the red light is on and the inverter shuts down.
  • Overload Protection: Automatic self-protection when there is overload – Red LED light is on and the inverter automatically shuts down.

Tips: Why can't a 300W car inverter power a desktop?

It is not recommended that you take power from the cigarette lighter to charge more than 120W electrical appliances. The cigarette lighter can only withstand about 10A current and about 100W power, because there is about 2-meter wire connected the battery to cigarette lighter, and the negative polarity of battery is connected to the car shell, causing too much loss of voltage and current. The inverter will not start up when it detects that there is no enough voltage and current to maintain its work. The inverter's best operating voltage is 11-13V.

Possible solutions:

  • Change thicker wires from the positive and negative polarity of battery to the cigarette lighter.
  • Connect the original battery connection clip line of the inverter to the positive and negative poles of the car battery, thus electrical appliances within 300W can be started.
