Note:
- The single phase motor should Not be adjusted to run based on a lower frequency than 80% of its rated frequency for along time, otherwise the motor may fail.
- RDDLZ VFD Cannot be used as a power source, it Can only be directly connected to an induction motor to control the motor speed.
- Single phase VFD Cannot control the motor in reverse, if you want to reverse the motor, refer to the motor nameplate instructions for operation.

Tips: Variable frequency drive dust cleaning attentions
In actual operation of the variable frequency drive, the device will always be affected by the environment, such as temperature, humidity, air quality and so on. Especially in the dusty production workshops, if not timely clean up the dust, the operation of the VFD will have a certain impact, or seriously lead to some problems. In the process of dust removal of VFD, there are something need to pay attention:
- Each VFD needs to be dust cleaned once a season.
- Shutdown the VFD before cleaning, and wait for the voltage down to the safety then start working.
- First use brush to clean the dust on the surface of the VFD, but pressure fan is not recommended for the cleaning.
- If the VFD surface is greasy, use a small amount of alcohol to wipe clean, and must wait for the VFD dried before booting again.
- In the maintenance, carefully check whether there are hot discolor parts, whether there is cracking of the cement resistance, or whether the electrolytic capacitors has expansion of leakage hole, protruding holes and other phenomena.
- If possible, remove the shell and use compressed air to blow out the dust inside the VFD and in the wind path. Pay attention when using compressed air because it may contain large amount of moisture. Using a vacuum cleaner is better than compressed air, because the moisture in the compressed air may cause error to the VFD.
