Tips: What are the Disadvantages of Handheld Ultrasonic Homogenizer?

  • Limited sample size. Due to their compact design, handheld ultrasonic homogenizers are typically suitable for processing smaller sample volumes. If you need to homogenize large samples or process multiple samples simultaneously, a handheld unit may not be ideal.
  • Heat generation. Ultrasonic homogenization can generate heat due to cavitation, which is the formation and collapse of tiny bubbles in the liquid. Handheld units may have limited cooling capabilities, and prolonged use can lead to a temperature increase in the sample, potentially affecting the stability or integrity of sensitive biomolecules or samples.
  • Limited power and processing capacity. Handheld ultrasonic homogenizers generally have lower power output compared to larger benchtop units. This limitation restricts their ability to process larger volumes or tougher samples effectively.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
