A side mounted float liquid level switch is a simple yet effective device designed for monitoring and controlling liquid levels in various industrial applications. As the liquid level changes, the float rises or falls with the fluid, causing the pivoting arm to actuate a switch mechanism.

Installation Method

  1. The installation should be far away from the water inlet (outlet) to avoid malfunction caused by water fluctuations.
  2. When installed in an area with stirring, anti-wave pipes or baffles can be installed;
  3. The control line load cannot be used with overload (use with less than the contact capacity).
  4. The angle at which the float and its connecting rod move up and down (with the horizontal line) is ±14 degrees. When the float is in a horizontal position, the switch operates.
  5. When installing, pay attention to the length and hole size of the connecting pipe to ensure the floating range of the float.

Note: There is a certain error allowed in the total length of the float and connecting rod.

Tips: Can side mounted float switch be used for both high and low-level alarms?

Yes, a side-mounted float switch can be utilized for both high and low-level alarms. The switch is positioned at a specific height on the container or tank, activating when the liquid reaches either the upper or lower set level. For a high-level alarm, the switch triggers when the liquid rises to the preset maximum level, signaling potential overflow or overfill. Conversely, for a low-level alarm, the switch activates when the liquid drops to the predetermined minimum level, indicating a need for refilling or intervention. This dual-functionality enhances versatility and efficiency in monitoring fluid levels, making side-mounted float switches suitable for various applications, such as in industrial processes, water treatment, or tank management systems.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
