The pipettes are an indispensable tool for sample collection and removal during biological, chemical, and clinical experiments. It can be classified as follows:

According to the operation mode of the pipette, it can be divided into mechanical pipette and electronic pipette. The electronic pipette uses a motor to precisely control the movement of the piston, thereby achieving functionality and increasing accuracy. Mechanical pipettes perform liquid transferring by controlling the sequence of the piston buttons.
According to the capacity, it can be divided into fixed volume pipettes and adjustable volume pipettes. The fixed-volume type can only perform one-volume pipetting, and the variable-volume type can transfer liquid within a certain range.
According to the number of channels, it can be divided into single-channel pipettes and multi-channel pipettes. Multichannel pipettes usually include 8-channel and 12-channel.
According to the classification of high-temperature sterilization methods, it can be divided into fully autoclave pipettes and half autoclave pipettes.
According to the versatility of the tips, it can be divided into universal tip type pipettes and special tip type pipettes.
