High-quality fixed nitrogen dioxide gas detectors with self-calibration and zero calibration functions, make the detection more accurate and reliable. Measuring ranges of 0-20, 0-50, 0-100, 0-500, 0-1000ppm, with temperature compensation for gas concentration under condensing conditions. The infrared controller can remotely control the gas alarm setting, and the gas leak detector can output one or two switching signals, which can drive the ventilator or solenoid valve and other external devices. Adopting original overseas gas sensors, it is compatible with various controlled alarms, PLC, DCS, and other control systems, and can be remotely monitored.

Tips: Fixed Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) Gas Detector Working Principle

Chemical or Electrochemical Sensors: Fixed NO2 gas detectors typically use chemical or electrochemical gas sensors as the core component to detect the presence and change in concentration of NO2 gas.
Gas Sampling: Gas leak detectors typically introduce a sample of ambient air into the gas sensor via a gas sampling system. This can be accomplished through a pumping system, pump, or other sampling device.
Potential Measurement: Once NO2 gas enters the sensor, a catalytic reaction at the working electrode causes a change in potential. The electrode circuitry measures this potential change and converts it into an electrical signal.
Signal Processing and Data Output: Gas tester typically include signal processing circuitry to amplify, filter and stabilize the signal obtained from the sensor. Finally, the gas detector outputs the measured NO2 concentration data in digital form, usually presented to the user via a display, data logging system, communications interface, etc.
Calibration: To ensure accurate measurements, fixed NO2 gas detectors usually require periodic calibration. This can be done by using a known concentration of calibration gas.
