Tips: Types of power transducers
Power transducers are classified into different types based on the electrical parameters they measure and their applications. The following are the main types of power transducers:
- Based on power type: AC power transducers measure active power (kW), reactive power (kVAR), or apparent power (kVA) in AC electrical systems. They are used in industrial automation, power distribution, and energy monitoring. DC power transducers measure power in DC circuits, such as solar systems, battery monitoring, and electric vehicles, and are commonly used in applications such as telecommunications and railway traction systems.
- Based on measurement parameters: Active power transducers measure active power in AC or DC circuits for energy monitoring and efficiency analysis. Reactive power transducers measure reactive power in AC circuits for power factor correction and reactive power compensation. Frequency transducers convert frequency changes into analog or digital outputs for generator monitoring and frequency stability applications.
- Based on connection configuration: Single-phase power transducers are used in residential and small commercial applications to measure voltage, current, and power on a single-phase load. Three-phase power transducers are used in industrial and large distribution systems.
Builder in Product TAB
NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc.
You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules.
Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
