Tips: How Layer 2 industrial switches work?
The Layer 2 Ethernet switch works at Layer 2 (data link layer) of the OSI model, identifies the MAC address information in the packet, forwards it according to the MAC address, and records these MAC addresses and corresponding ports in an internal address table. Therefore, Layer 2 switches require powerful data identification and forwarding capabilities.
Working principle:
When the switch receives a packet from a port, it first reads the source MAC address in the packet header so that it knows which port the source MAC address machine is connected to. Then read the destination MAC address in the packet header and look up the corresponding port in the address table. If there is a port corresponding to the destination MAC address in the table, copy the packet directly to this port. If the corresponding port is not found in the table, the data packet is broadcast to all ports. When the destination machine responds to the source machine, the switch can learn which port the destination MAC address corresponds to, and the switch will not broadcast to all ports when the next time data is transferred.

Builder in Product TAB

NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc. You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules. Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
