Low-cost 3D electronic compass sensor, using hard and soft magnetic calibration algorithms, so that the compass can eliminate the influence of magnetic fields through calibration algorithms in environments with magnetic field interference. The electronic compass sensor integrates a three-axis magnetic sensing technology sensor, calculates the heading in real time through the central processor, and uses a three-axis accelerometer to compensate for the tilt angle in a wide range, ensuring that the compass can provide high-precision heading data at tilt angles up to ±85°.

Tips: Installation instructions for 3-axis electronic compass sensor
Due to the use of geomagnetic principles in the azimuth of the DCM260B three-dimensional electronic compass sensor, it is necessary to select the installation location with the minimum magnetic interference environment. Please install this product away from iron, magnets, engines, and other magnetic objects. Even if there are these magnetic media around, it needs to be controlled at a distance of over 40cm (different magnetic fields have different distances of interference with the compass). To ensure the measurement accuracy of the product, stainless steel screws must be used during installation.
