Tips: Some common failures of SMPS

If the switching power supply does not start vibrating, it is generally necessary to check whether the switching frequency is correct, whether the protection circuit is blocked, whether there is any problem with the voltage feedback circuit and current feedback circuit, and whether the switching tube is broken down.
Transformer heats up or makes a "sizzling" sound, generally because the switching frequency is wrong.
The output voltage power supply indicator flickers, commonly because there is a short circuit on the secondary side.

When repairing the switching power supply, first use a multimeter to check whether each power component has a breakdown and short circuit, such as the power rectifier bridge stack, switch tube, high-frequency high-power rectifier tube, and whether the high-power resistor that suppresses inrush current is blown. Then check whether each output voltage port is abnormal.
