AC Gear Motor Standard Installation
- All the RDDLZ 3-phase AC gear motors are suitable for this installation method, as shown in the following diagram.
- In the diagram, Q1, Q4, Q7, Q8 are the standard types of oil hole direction. If you need the air hole be on a special position, please contact us to modify the air hole direction.
- In actual use, it is recommended to pull out the oil plug in the air hole to balance the pressure in gearbox.

Tips: How to calculate torque for 3-phase AC gear motor?
After calculating the gear ratio, convert the torque using the conditions of the machine used.
- First, calculate the torque of the conveyor pulley (T1)
T1 = (μ × load × roller radius) ÷ η1 - Convert the result into the torque required by AC gear motor output shaft (T2)
T2 = (T1 × sprocket reduction ratio) ÷ η2
Calculation example
- T1 = μ × W (D/2) ÷ η1
= 0.15 × 600 × (0.2/2) ÷ 0.95 = 9.5kgf-m - T2 = (T1 × 1/2) ÷ η2
= (9.5 × 1/2) ÷ 0.9 = 5.28kgf-m
Builder in Product TAB
NEW! Since Journal 3.2, the much improved T.A.B (Tabs Accordion Blocks) system supports the page builder inside the tab content. Unlimited Blocks, Tabs or Accordions with any HTML content or the builder interface (supporting custom rows/columns/modules) can be assigned to any individual product or to certain groups of products, like entire categories, brands, products with specific options, attributes, price range, etc.
You can indicate any criteria via the advanced product assignment mechanism and only those products matching your criteria will display the modules.
Also, any module can be selectively activated per device (desktop/tablet/phone), customer login status and other criteria. Imagine the possibilities.
