This safety relay has an operating temperature range of -10℃ to +55℃ (without frost and condensation), and an operating humidity range of 35%RH to 85%RH, which is suitable for most industrial environment changes.
Features
- This safety relay is widely used in industrial safety systems and can be used with safety mats to enhance the reliability of equipment safety systems and form a safer protection system.
- The relay is designed for safety mat linkage and can drive up to 6 mats.
- Each input signal has a separate protection and non-protection function switch (inhibition).
- 1 normally closed safety contacts are output in series, and 1 normally open auxiliary contacts are output in parallel.
- It supports dual-channel operation mode and can complete self-test of mats and controllers.
- It has a power indicator and an output status indicator.
- The number of safety contacts can be increased by expanding the module.
- Safety relay for safety mat can be switched between manual reset and automatic reset.
- The safety relay has a DC24V active alarm output that can detect the status of any carpet in the system.

Indicator light description
- Power: Yellow light.
- Normal: Green light for normal, red light for stepping, this is a two-color light.
- Error: Red light for disconnection.
- After the safety relay is turned on, the working power indicator light is yellow.
- When the output is automatically reset: the working power indicator light is green.
Connection mode
- Connect the four brown, blue, white and black wires of the carpet to the four terminals of the relay according to the figure below, connect the positive and negative poles of the 24V power supply to the 24V and 0V terminals of the relay respectively, the safety output is COM and NC and COM and NO are auxiliary outputs, the alarm output is connected to the positive and negative poles of the DC24V alarm respectively, the alarm output is a disconnection alarm, and the alarm will only be triggered when the safety mat fails.
- Reset: Automatic reset if the reset is not connected. Manual reset after adding a normally closed button.
- The right-side dip switches correspond to 1.2.3.4.5.6 positions respectively. When the carpet needs to be shielded or not connected, turn the corresponding dip switch to shield.
- Signal output: 1 normally open contact COM NO; 1 normally closed contact COM NC.
Note: The short-circuit wire is not allowed to be plugged in or out at will.
Tips: Working principle of safety relay for safety mat
The safety relay operates by receiving the trigger signal of the safety mat. Safety mats usually contain pressure sensors or conductive materials. When a person or object touches the safety mat, the mat sends a signal to a relay, which immediately cuts off the power to the machine or performs other safety protection actions. This way, operators can avoid misoperation or accidental start-up of dangerous equipment without getting hurt.
