Shipping Way of RDDLZ Water Chiller
*Just confirm the shipping way by email when you place your order.
1. Shipping by Air: Since the compressed refrigerant inside the chiller is considered hazardous and may explode, it must be released before transport. This means the chiller will be shipped without refrigerant. Once the machine arrives at your location, a local professional can easily add refrigerant, just like refilling a standard air conditioner. Estimated delivery time: 15–30 days.
2. Shipping by Sea: Delivery takes longer, approximately 40–55 days, but the chiller comes pre-filled with refrigerant, so no additional charging is needed upon arrival.
Tips: What is the Common Problem with the Air-cooled Water Chiller?
A common problem with air-cooled water chillers usually stems from their reliance on ambient air for heat rejection. The main issues include:
- Dirty or clogged condenser coils: Dust, debris, or leaves can block airflow, reducing cooling efficiency and causing the chiller to overheat.
- Insufficient airflow: Fans may fail or operate at reduced efficiency, leading to poor heat dissipation.
- Refrigerant issues: Leaks, overcharge, or undercharge can decrease cooling capacity and increase energy consumption.
- Compressor problems: Wear, electrical issues, or improper lubrication can lead to compressor failure or inefficient operation.
- High ambient temperatures: Air-cooled chillers lose efficiency in hot weather since the condenser relies on outside air to reject heat.
- Water flow issues: Low flow or pump problems in the chilled water loop can trigger freeze protection or reduce cooling output.
- Scaling and fouling in water circuit: Even though the condenser is air-cooled, the water loop may still accumulate scale or sediment, reducing heat transfer.
